Estonia is small for it`s parameters, but the sea-and browntrouts here, compared to it`s relativs around the world, are wild, strong and big. The minimum size of a brown is 36 cm and of a searun trout it is 50 cm. Many of the good rivers flow in the jungle and are surrounded with bogs and wetlands, which holds the hords of fisherman away and protect the schools against overfishing. In addition to already mentioned facts a lot of dams have been removed in the last three years, which means the trend in salmonid rivers is very positive and growth-oriented.
